Remember the vocal Amma from Peepli [Live]? Farrukh Jaffer will now be seen as Kangna Ranaut's grandmother in Tanu Weds Manu.

This role was initially essayed by a theatre actor from UP but when the makers of the film saw Farrukh in Aamir Khan's production and the way the audiences appreciated her role, she was roped in for TWM.

The naani's scenes were reshot with Farrukh.
